CAUTION: please read post BEFORE you freak out and email or call me…I didn’t cut my hair and not tell you!
I saw this virtual makeover and I just HAD to try. I’ve always said I would look terrible in short hair. Well you be the judge. I’m NOT in any way saying I’m actually going to cut my hair, but it’s interesting to see what it would look like. I could be very easily convinced to, if someone would come over every day and style it for me. That’s the biggest reason (and my round face…which seems to have gotten less round in the last few months). So without further ado, here I am, sans most of my hair (and devoid of pretty much all makeup)…
Inspired by Eve
Inspired by Katie Holmes
Inspired by Rihanna
Inspired by Victoria Beckham, a.k.a. my “rock star” look : )

That is so cool! Of course, you look totally gorgeous no matter what length your hair is!

I like the Katie Holmes one! And just so you know, I’m not entering the Epicure contest cause that just wouldn’t be fair
But I think it’s great!

Ooooo….purrrdy! I like the Rhianna inspired one best. Suits the shape of your face, and has the benefit of not being quite as drastic.
I just got my hair to pony tail length again and I’m not going short till after the summer. Getting my heavy hair up off my neck is imperative to surviving the summer heat!

Erin, I’m loving the Victoria Beckham one on you!! Girl you can pull off that short cut!
Beautiful!

Well don’t ask me for hair advice because I’ll just say GO FOR IT! if you don’t like it it grows back..lol!
Seriously I think it would look great!! Love the Victoria Beckham one!!

That’s really cool, they look so real! I think the first one looks really nice on you. But you’re right, short hair is much more work than long. No quick ponytails or anything like that! If I don’t do my hair every day I look like the bride of frankenstien!

Was that from InStyle?! I did it too! I really like the “Eve” on you!

LOVE #1 and #4 is a VERY close 2nd. But I also agree … short hair = high maintenance. You would think with less hair it would be less maintenance!
Comment by Nicole — March 27, 2008 @ 6:40 pm
I quite like it short or long
Erin you are beautiful

It so cracks me up 1) that you really did post this and 2) that so many people have commented so far! I think you look hot in all the styles bab-y!

I’ve so wanted to cut my LONG hair short. I haven’t had short hair since I was in fifth grade.
Your all scaring me with the HIGH MAINTENANCE comments.
I do once remember perming it and telling my mother to NEVER let me do that again.

Very cute do’s. I like the Katie Holmes and the V. B. It’s great that you can carry off sweet and sassy styles.

i vote VB but love your hair any way

FUN! Short(er) hair has so many advantages, but I am seriously dedicated to achieving ponytail length before this baby comes. I can’t imagine I’ll be cool with my daily wash-dry-straighten-style routine postpartum. But that’s less because I have short hair and more because I have terrible hair period - when it’s longer and I don’t want to do the ponytail thing, it takes longer. Sigh.
I love your hair

So your are wanting the short cut hey?!? lol… go for it! or at least try to fool us with some long do’s from the celebs

I really like the last one, which I find funny b/c I’m quite certain I wouldn’t like it if I just saw a wig of it or something…on you it’s adorable. Work it girl

I love the last one! But I don’t have anything to compare it to!
I’m chicken to cut mine. But I want to do that virtual thing….sounds cool!

I love the first one! Adorable!

How cute. I went and tried it, but need to use a picture that shows less of my own hair. It was fun.

Nice software. I’d be curious to try it. I’ve been rockin’ the same do for a while now but don’t have the courage to cut my hair. I guess it’s my Samson complex.
