A Premature Tooth Fairy Visit

Last week Ella had a little accident.  She was taking her jacket off and as she was trying to wiggle her arms out of the jacket she kind of toppled over…face first.  She banged her chin and apparently teeth into the floor with no arms to brace herself.  Other than a little bruise on her chin we were happy to report no damage done.  Until a few days later she started telling us about a loose tooth.  I kept telling her not to wiggle it because maybe it might tighten up again.  Or not.  The other night she went to bed complaining about her tooth hurting and shortly after she went to bed she came running back out of her room with this to show us…

We informed her that the Tooth Fairy would probably come visit her that night.

“Really?!?”  She exclaimed.

“Yup, so you better get to bed.”

“Well, what time do you think she’ll come?”  She inquired.

“Not until you’re fast asleep, so get to bed.”

She was so excited that she fell asleep half sitting with her arms folded in her lap waiting for the Tooth Fairy to come.

In the morning she was excited to announce that the Tooth Fairy did indeed come to visit, left some money and made no noise whatsoever.  Sneaky Tooth Fairy : )

  7. Ouch, but she is so cute. Did you keep her little tooth? I have all Miss E’s so far. I couldn’t bear to throw a little piece of her away. Weird.
