Martini Mama
I got my new “cocktail shaker” and “jigger” today. It actually all came together in a nifty little set. Pretty sweet.
Jer laughed at my new acquisition and asked if I was trying to become a bartender and no, for the record, I’m not. Just want to be able to make fun martinis since I’m going to collect martini glasses and all, so the correct paraphernalia is pertinent. I was very excited to find these…
Walmart is a wonderful place : )
I’m going to make Jer my guinea pig and try out my first Chocotini on him. He doesn’t seem to mind.
So, have you had any good martinis? What kind? Know any good recipes you’d care to share? Val, you really need to find out what was in that Raztini we had at Robbie’s. I so LOVED it.
Yum, yum!! I LOVE chocolate martini’s. Hint, hint…

If you search the Food Network site, there’s a martini called Icing on the Cake- it’s to DIE for! Except, I make mine with Rompope instead of the half and half and I don’t used spiced rum (because cake batter is NOT spicy), but seriously, it tastes JUST like cake batter! YUMMMMMM!!!!

I’ll post my strawberry martini soon so you can experiment with it! Those glasses are really pretty and the deck is stunning. When can I come by for a drinkie?

Answer to the raztini…I think Chambord, vodka, and some sort of juice. Hmmmm….gotta be in some recipe book. Let me look at Neil’s…actually, I think it’s just the two ingredients. His book says the vodka and Raspberry Liquor which is what Chambord is. But nothing beats Chambord so don’t get any of the knock-offs!
