THAT is my husband in my dress. The dress I plan to wear to my cousins wedding. Although I think he might look better in it than me. The other night our daughter Aidan came and put a crown on his head while we had company over and told him he was a fairy. I snickered and said “Fairy Jerry.”
A little later both myself and one of our guest asked him to get us a drink while he was up. He looks at us and says, “What, am I your serving wench or something?” I again laughed and piped up “Serving wench Fairy Jerry!”
He disappeared into the other room (I thought he was just going to the bathroom). Next thing we know he’s traipsing through the living room in my high heel shoes and my dress.
Ha! I find that life just gets a little sweeter when our husbands have moments like that. It’s one of the characteristics about them that we are drawn to I think. Go Jer, shame never looks good on people anyway!
I was wondering who that lady was who I had never seen before… GO JER! I expect to see him at the wedding IN THE DRESS. Sorry, Erin, I guess you have to go shopping again..!
That was so funny, I still snicker when I think of it! I can’t wait until our next get together to see what he pulls out next, and to think he only had ONE drink..Lol!
LOL LOL LOL oh Erin
first of all I laughed and thought yep I need an explantion as to why your hubby is dressed up in a dress and then I had to laugh again about fairy jerry
I laughed loudest when I read about what he did
Erin your hubby is great and they must have been good friends
love the deck. i put out my deck furniture in last month and a squirrel attacked one of the cushions looking for stray peanuts that i chucked out the back door.
so now i have a cushion with a huge hole chewed in it.
here’s hoping you don’t have a huge squirrel population or throw peanuts out the back door!!
Okay. I have to admit it. I have a mad crush on your husband. He was cute in the first picture you posted, but the dress just puts him over the top. I couldn’t help but laugh. And he looks like he’s really into it. What a goofball. Sigh. It’s a shame you found him first.

Funny, he seemed so quiet and respectable putting together that patio furniture when I was there. I always thought YOU were the crazy one!

he needed to show a little more leg though.

Hee hee, that is so funny. And I hope you hear from Ellen sweetie. And can I have your chocolate margarita recipe or is it top secret?
June 5th, 2008 at 4:41 pm
no offence jer but erin looks much better in it.
well, growing up you might have not had to deal with a “clothes snitching sister” but now you have a “dress snitching husband.”
June 5th, 2008 at 4:55 pm
How nice is it for you two to wear the same clothes?!? hehehe… super funny!
June 9th, 2008 at 8:37 am
He’s a free spirit, that one, and obviously very comfortable in his own skin. But you will need to watch it ~ he does wear a dress very nicely!!
