Ugh…I’m such a big baby when I’m sick :(
Whine, whine, whine, blah, blah, blah…Â

We are all sick. Â Very, very sick. Â Fevers, coughing, the aches, the chills, runny noses, coughing, stomach aches, more coughing…ick, ick, ick. Â Not exactly how I imagined my homecoming. Â Whining and green goo. Â Lovely!
It’s bad enough when it’s just one child. Â It’s really bad when it’s everyone all at the same time because who inevitably gets the short end of the stick? Â You got it, Mommy. Â She has to take care of everyone else. Â :( Â I had a little pity party and a bit of a meltdown this morning, “It’s not fair that you got to call in sick and stay in bed all day while I was just as sick and still had to take care of everyone! Â I wanna call in sick…waaaaaa!!!” Â But we all know how that goes.
 My mom was lovely and took the girls for a few hours this afternoon and I ended up going for a massage which gave me a couple precious hours to myself.  Although the wracking cough kind of undoes the relaxing the massage did.  Sigh.
For now I’ve handed the reigns to Jer and said, “Your turn!” Â I’m going to have a hot bath (as per the massage therapists orders) and snuggle up under a blanket with some tea.
Hopefully I can kick this thing quickly so that I can take care of my little people tomorrow. Â
Ohhhh,don’t you hate being sick? Hopefully it’s a short cold/virus/plague and you’ll be back on your feet soon! Until then, enjoy the hot bath and tea!
