There are several ways you can cook asparagus, but roasting is our absolute preferred. When the stalks darken and crisp, they are not burning, they’re creating much more taste. Here’s to cook perfect asparagus each time.
- Trim the woody ends. The bottom of asparagus spears are super challenging and nearly unattainable to bite by means of, even when cooked. Lower them off!
- Season generously. Will not be shy with salt and pepper or else your asparagus can flip out v bland.
- Roast in a single layer. If you overcrowd the pan, you danger steaming the asparagus, which would prohibit char. Char is excellent!
